Apologies for not being able to find this thread that's only a week old
Some one asked if a stand existed to take I to house and small foldable etc
He was going to buy a bench rack like this and I think screw to wall
No need fir that as you can use it as such
I don't use it like this but if you wanted you could modify a home made door bracket to suit
This is the general idea and others may wish to add to it
Good luck to who the original poster was

Erm, you don't use it like that, so why post ?- it's not going to work. The weight of the bike will cause the clamp to rotate, damaging the paintwork.

There's a lot of things we may not use personally...but others may feel it ok
It's upto oneself to add additional protection to paintwork etc just as they would add floor protection if working indoors on a bike
If the ideas no good then that's ok
I'm not offended

And to clarify
The clamp will rotate so as the bike can be balanced on the top tube for
Basic stuff
If anyone is very concerned about that ..angle iron can be attached to the plate to go in door frame
Close the door then it's all tight
This was just a basic opener for anyone to add additional stuff to it as they feel fit
I don't use it as I am fortunate to have a warmish garage ...others may not

Exactly.
Obviously depends on the nature of the environment / circumstances etc - whether own home or renting, blah blah - but it'd not be difficult to use this with some simple mods.
