For the second day in a row my packed lunch will contain many iced gems and cadburys animals (leftovers from my daughter's birthday party).

My ex wife has a friend who is a one legged cyclist. She still has both legs but lost the use of a leg after being attacked at Glasgow Uni for being a lesbian.

How contemptible is that! To hate a woman so much that you are prepared to cripple her simply because she fancies other women rather than men ...

Yes, it made me so angry at the time, still does.

She was beaten up and thrown down a steel fire escape stair. The Uni didn't help, insisting that she stopped obstructing the escape, while she lay there with a smashed leg. They also refused to call for an ambulance and so her partner had to get a taxi and put her in it to go to hospital.
About 5 years after they decided to quit the UK and are living happily together in Cyprus running a cafe.

One of my current positive thoughts is that I'm building a singlespeed with a friend on Saturday, it'll be his very first +1

The sun is out, it's not raining and i cannot hear the wind for once in many many days. Oh and i weighed myself this morning and found i had lots 1lb

I have a day and a half to work then I'm off for a week, I'm also sat here with good memories of last Saturday's afternoon out at Tropical birdland, me and the Mrs had a superb time looking at birds, walking into and through aviaries to handle and feed the birds, there were also birds flying round loose, I haven't heard the Mrs laugh so much for ages.

Occasionally when Mrs Beanz and I have a good laugh at something, it strikes me how important it is to give yourselves opportunities to do this. Laughter in your life every day isn't a bad thing to aim for.

I have got lots 1lb too...about 220 of them at least!

Have you ever seen Sunn o))) live? That band re-arranged my internal organs. I knew we were in for a treat when I noticed they had added about 20 additional subs to the festival PA. They were so loud they triggered the fire alarms.

Monoliths and dimensions is a fairly good starting point. Don't expect to be jumping around dancing but the album is a real grower. But your kids, pets, local dogs / moles might not like it.
