Were you wearing your Sunday suet and looking smart when you met him?
No I was at a hotel and there was an elderly gentleman was sat next to me. Somehow the subject was country dancing and someone mentioned the"Gay Gordons""The Lancers" as danced by Mr Pastry. So I said to the gentleman next to me "I expect you can tell me the real name of Mr Pastry". He looked very shocked and on the defensive. He wanted to know why I thought he would know.
He then said he had been the agent for Mr Pastry, and could not work out how I would know that.

That is a truly awful pun.
Cycling is the only time it’s socially acceptable to wear skin-tight clothes and pointy shoes in public, except for Doug, it isn't........he wears them all the time, even when hanging out with cardinals.
(and before you ask, yes, he did use Papal to facilitate the purchases)
That is a truly awful pun.
