Dave still remembers when Moats were some new fangled invention and which most assumed was just a passing fad. Even the editor of 'What Castle?' magazine thought so.

He also remembers with great fondness when the fought alongside King Richard in the Crusades and when he wrote King Henry V's St Crispian speech for him at some Godawful place in France called Agincourt.

It wasn't anywhere near as good as Shakespeare's later version.
