I'm not saying Speicher is old, but she relates a tale from her youth that when on a walking holiday in Switzerland, she was admiring the Reichenbach Falls from a narrow pathway near the top. Whilst absorbed in the majestic beauty of the waterfall she was startled by a man in a deerstalker hat, smoking a pipe. Mort has the mind of a sewer. He is surprisingly good at needlework, particularly crewel embroidery.
