SP99's only foray into acting was a few years ago as a bank robber on a Crimewatch reconstruction. It had been a particularly nasty robbery, and the police were grateful to the programme for any help in apprehending the perpatrators.

After the programme was aired, it was generally agreed by the BBC, TV critics and the general public alike, that it had been truly horrific......some of the worst acting seen on the TV for years!
