Adorable 🥰
(Bet he’s a wee live wire)

Just a bit. Mrs W suggested we need to try and keep him off the sofa after she watched a puppy training video. Well that’s going well so far.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Following on from my earlier thread (https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/new-cat.303469), I am glad to announce that Chips is fully settled and we have discovered that she certainly has an appetite - has put on at least half a kilo since arriving! Now to be fair, I think she was a little underweight when we got her and she's now at the weight she should have been, but we've got to monitor that it doesn't go too far the other way.

But more importantly - new pictures! First of all, ready for my close-up:

Getting some precious beauty sleep on the bed, but not letting my favourite toy get too far away from me:

And finally, I have kicked one of the humans off the sofa to reclaim my preferred relaxing spot:

well, it finally happened. Rosie figured out how to open the sliding screen door & escape!

I brought her out for a walk on a leash. had a nice time for about 45 minutes? very relaxed. she laid down in the dirt & on a rock & all went well. our backyard camera has me bringing her in & closing the screen door

only 11 minutes later, the next video is her walking down our back steps onto the patio

then 25 minutes later, the next video is of Wifey running out screaming looking for her & yelling up to me that she's out! I was upstairs doing laundry

Rosie wasn't far, just out back in the garden & she came to wifey when she was called

but the sequence of videos is pretty darn funny

but of course, now we have a problem

Childproof locks are your friends when you've got a cat that's too smart for their own good.

A lot of Siamese and Oriental people that I know swear by them.
