Here's the boss...
Misty.jpg

Misty, a lilac burmese who turned 16 in April.
Soft as a brush, a house cat these days. Also she has a generous side to her, she allows me to live in her house, pay the bills, buy her food, clean up after her, and supply fusses at her beacon call
I wouldn't have it any other way!

Are you sure she's not Tonkinese? She's pointed, and with aquamarine eyes...

Love her stink face though. I would NOT want to cross her, I fear I'd get walloped for my pains!

Definitely burmese, it certainly states that on both her and her brothers documents (unfortunately I lost Rocky around 10 years ago after being hit by a car 😢).
She's a proper softie, that look is purely as I was trying to get her to look at the camera while she was trying to chill
Now you'd get gently pawed (spelling) if you dare stop with the fussing.

Fair enough. They're related breeds anyway*, so there is a good bit of similarity. Please do give Madam a cuddle and chin tickle from Auntie Reynard xxx

I get pawed at too, but if I ignore it, then *chomp*

* Burmese, Tonks and Siamese are sort of genetically related anyway, the breeds having been developed from Thai cats. Tonks are actually Burmese x Siamese, and in terms of their body type, sit between the two. Tonks can be fully colourpoint, have the Burmese colouring or again, have something that's somewhere between the two. Originally, Burmese and Tonkinese were seen as poor quality Siamese, as it was the (seal) colourpoint pattern and piercing blue eyes that was desirable.
