Me neither and if it did explode, you've got no momentum, so you would just stop.

If you ever rode "tubs", they did explode and was very scary if traveling at speed.

Yes, tubs would go with a bang. On the positive, it was still possible to ride with a punctured flat tub on the front - Having got my second puncture in a 25 mile TT, I rode the last 8 miles on a flat front (didn't do a p.b though  )

Fitted one just to be sure, the last thing needed was another shock to the system.
GP sent my partner for an xray on her hips as 4 weeks later she is still experiencing pain after walking over a mile, this is very much unlike her, she's a tough cookie. We're waiting out on the results.....I don't think a deep tissue massage from the physio helped short term🤐

Update, finally the insewerance company stuck to £1800 and my partner accepted. Physio/injury claim is ongoing and as time rolls on recovery isn't as quick as we'd hoped which is frustrating her. Events that were booked have been cancelled and money lost( birthday Florence and the Machine ticket went unused), races that were booked have been cancelled to add to frustration.....hey ho it could of been worse.

If you're out of pocket because of the injury get all your receipts and tickets in as part of the claim, there's no reason why you should lose out when it's someone else's fault.

When my back was knackered for a couple of months I hired a gardener and put the cost in my claim without any argument.

Thanks for the heads up....all in hand however.
