There are lot's of wise words / sayings all over the net, but I have two that strike a chord with me:

"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live"

This is a quote from the Harry Potter films (Albus Dumbledore) and I have had it written on my cycle helmet on every tour I have been on to remember my son, as he used to love those films. It also reminds me to live each day as much as possible.

Also

"be careful what you wish for, you just might get it"

I have come to believe that my thoughts are like a steering wheel for where my life goes. Trying to stay focused on positive thoughts of what I want is hard, but if I don't I seem to always get what I don't want. So...
