Lets see some crazy rides. Here is mine - Day 1 of Bilbao to Santiago de Compestela - 100 miles, 10,000 ft of climbing, a day of pain !

Lunch was taken at 50 miles, which shows how much we had studied the route before the ride. It was like cycling up a wall immediately afterwards.

The worse bit was the little lumps at the end - they felt like mountains.

Raid Pyrenees. 100 hours to complete the whole thing. I've never had a harder or more rewarding cycling experience. As I was skint at the time, I didn't opt for the supported rider way, but did it solo, camping with a fully loaded touring bike. Not ideal!

If I had a 'bucket list', that would probably be on it!

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that I will ever be fit enough again. (My lungs are not 100% recovered from past illness so I worry how they would cope at altitude.)

Myself, @Trickedem & @rb58 did The Pico de Veleta, the highest paved road in Europe.
Pretty bonkers really.
