I have sold my Raleigh Record Sprint on ebay and I need to post the bike. (Uk Mainland)

What are the better companies for delivery and do they provide a box.

What is the best wrapping procedures.

Front wheel off, handle bars turned in?

@biggs682 must be an expert at this.

Well done @GuyBoden loads of padding around all tubing , leave rear wheel in place , remove front but remember to fit a spacer between fr dropouts .

Remove pedals , bar and stem position bike in box and position bars around frame then position fr wheel .

I have sent two with Parcel Force, prices from Parcel Monkey, one of them was very cheap the other was a bit bigger box so turned out more expensive, but they picked them up at home and delivered in 48 hours, they will supply labels if you don't have a printer.

Getting a box, then dismantling the bike, then wrapping the bike, putting it into the box, waiting for the delivery van, hoping that it gets delivered ok.
I just don't think this selling bikes malarkey is much fun, buying is much better.
