I've only been riding the western South Downs lanes since '17 and I swear they have got worse over the last ~9 years, making a gravel bike (or something that can fit ~38mm tyres) increasingly appropriate!

Motorbikes with massive tires can come unstuck though.

Nothing in that seems to say anything about the quality of the repairs, beyond assessing the quality of the road as red/amber/green.

Some of the repairs around my area is pretty bad. plus they didnt do the whole road, they only did one or two pot holes. The workers can clearly see that there are more potholes that need fixing

INdeed. But they are only being paid to do the marked up ones, both material and time.

It is the ones doing the marking up that should be seeing the others that need doing, not just the ones which have been reported.

I heard that villa won the europa cup. in birmingham they were going to have a parade. in the streets and roads the parade was going to take place the council filled in all pot holes on the roads the day before. So they can do it, they just dont want to

When I report a pothole ghat is bad enough to be a danger to a bike I include "Danger to cyclists, it'll have them on the road in front of following/oncoming traffic" to the teport.

I've found the earliest way to record and report is use my phone and take a photo then once home use the Fix My Street app to report using each photo - it takes the location from the geotag the phone camera embeds in the image metadata so quick and easy to run through all pothole photos from ride.

I drove down through Albania last year, they have potholes you get 2 wheels in, even on the dual carriageways😬
