poxy shimano front shifter has gon floppy again...

shimon top pull front shifters seem to wear rather quickly so anyone using say a SRAM front shifter, top pull?

I assume these wil be compatible with 9 speed Shimano, but do the pivots wear as quickly?

The old style chunk shiman down pull shifters lasted ages .....
