Mamil and couldn't care less

Since I have become a mamil, I have religiously/obsessively inflated my tyres and checked the brakes prior to each ride, followed by a scrupulous inspection/clean when I get back. Today, for the first time ever, I flipped the bike over to check the condition of the tyres, only to find a substantial bulge in the rear one. (Probably from a gash caused when I 'discovered' some broken glass yesterday on the only section of cycle path I ever really use, that I missed when I inspected them for glass at the time - at my age, I need my reading glasses to do the job properly.) So if I ever come on here moaning about something, please feel free to remind me of this amazing piece of luck.
