I fancy some (Wrap around) sunglasses. They must be prescription. And I already have ‘normal’ Sports type. Any experience or suggestions ?

*Photochromatic / Darkness adjusting also sounds good for typical changing UK light conditions during a ride: as per these:

Being quite a hefty prescription almost -6 - only extreme eyewear would glaze a wrap to that level. Rudy projects - didn't get much change from £300 - but having tried optilabs and inserts - the Rudy projects are far superior.

Very spendy but I splashed out last year 2 years ago (!) on a set of top spec cycling sunnies from Extreme Eyewear. Rudy Project frames and varifocal photochromic prescription lenses. Superb! Due to the wraparound and prescription they are pretty thick at the sides. As a result they might look a little odd close up but I'm not bothered about that when I'm out on the bike and they're not for posing at the beach! ^_^

I didn't want to go with inserts again and my prescription has been very stable over the last 5 years.

A wise man once said when spending money on quality gear, you feel the pain only once when the money goes out but you appreciate the purchase every time you use it thereafter.

Exactly my experience. Except I did spend twice - as I jumped off some rocks into the sea in mallorca with mine still on. Never seen them again.

Not for everyone but I went top end, Serengeti. They are prescription drivers lenses which are varifocal and photochromatic.
Far from cheap but as I use them for cycling, driving and general use they work out cheaper per hour used. Better than my previous Optilabs as they should be for the money. I see that the model is no longer available.
