They've suddenly come back in hereabouts (London). After maybe 20 years with none in sight, most pubs round here now offer them.Talking of pints, how many pubs still serve ale in a 'dimple' mug ?
. . . I've not seen one in a pub, for ages. (Though I use one at home)

13p for a pint of Adnams in the college bar in 1973. Very happy days. Twenty seven pence for twenty Rothmans too.no such thing as a decent pint in Stornoway, about £3/pint for tennants
My students day it was Banks mild for 34p pint or Pedigree for 40p/pint (I feel old)
Our local Sam Smiths charge £1.94 for a pint of their bitter. The first time I went in, I bought a pint and a half and I assumed they hadn't charged me for the half, it was so cheap.£1.82 ....pint bitter (not wherspoons) samuel smiths
Does that qualify under the 'decent beer' stipulation?
Then the OP should have been more specific in the thread titleThe OP rules this comment is crap!
