Does anyone follow up a pro road race to clean up the items they chuck out the side as they breeze past?

I know souvenir hunters take some but they do seem to throw a fair bit.
Bidons
Muzzette
rain Capes
energy bars
and the rest.

A big peloton like the giro and that is a fair amount of stuff.

Ps.
If any when riding want to retire from the race and save time by simply just chucking their uber nice carbon speed machine in the hedge, feel free if I am close by

You should see the crap the publicity caravan chucks into the crowds as it belts along in front of the race.

In South Africa they have to ask riders not to throw gel sachets away because there's an increasing problem with aggressive baboons.
