I found a plastic bag with “good food costs less at Sainsbury’s” written on it. which was a catch phrase they used in between 1959 and 1991.
So that’s a 30 year old bag as a minimum and it looked in good condition.

Tab is from the 60s (but i only know of it because of American relatives bringing it over on the early 80s), Tab Clear was 90's

I picked it up with the intent of putting it in the bin for recyclables back at the car park but forgot so it's still in my pocket.

Might list it on ebay as a rare antique

I wouldn't be at all surprised if my local corner shop still sold cans like that

I've only run across the clear stuff, so that's what I was on about.
