Proper starter - 60+ W Yorks

  1. I log in here with about the same level of trepidation as I feel as the owner of a new road bike.

    Will need some guidance.

    :hello: Welcome dslippy :welcome: , no need for trepidation. There's a huge knowledge base here to be tapped in to, you only have to ask and somebody will have the answer, and if nobody knows somebody will make something up :thumbsup:

    Welcome - hope you are enjoying the new bike. Can relate to both your areas of concern as I was in the same position 5 years ago when I had just turned 50. Getting your bike is a great move. Live just around the corner from Brighouse so know the hill up to fixby well!

    :welcome:.....I regularly ride with a guy in his mid 70's and he's quicker/stronger than many who are decades younger!

    Just take it easy and make gradual progress and enjoy!
