If you allow children( 6-12 age) in your garden to play football with your kids and one of them puts the football through the neighbours window then who is responsible .

A- The Parent of the child.
B -You for allowing them to play in your garden
C- Nobody, they are just kids and sh1t happens

Maybe speak to the parents of the kid who kicked it and go halves.

If I was the parent of the kid that did it, then I would be offering to pay. If I was the owner of the garden / looking after the kids, then I would be expecting to pay. If I was the neighbour whose window got snashed, I would anticipate I would be paid.

I would go for the 'Screw your kid's social life up for good' option and ban them from playing with any kids you don't approve of for life. Ever. I mean it. That's it.

Wrong. The person who let them kick a football about in their garden was the person who judged the risk to be small enough. Their fault.
