Protein drinks... advice?

I myself like to boost my protein intake to make sure I am getting at least enough each day.

I tend to prefer a mix of milk (200ml), protein whey isolate (30g) and half a banana.

The banana flavours the milk nicely!!

I agree, all the energy drinks are just hyped up, go for chocolate, sugar, eat some banana, off you go you have a lot of carbohydrates.

I normally have a protein shake once a week or whenever my muscles are feeling a bit drained... used Maximuscle Promax, Viper & Recovermax in the past... Recovermax is the best all rounder imo. But started using 'forgoodnessshakes' which is just as good but you can drink it straight out of the bottle so no messing about with mixing the stuff.

I also mix Nesquik with milk which is ok but doesn't give you the real 'boost' that your muscles are after... for me anyway!
