A great looking bike in my favourite colour combination šŸ˜Ž
Any chance you could measure the folded dimension? I did look on the Brompton website but couldn't find it.

Had a measure in the shop yesterday of a size medium with rack/mudguards. Out of the box it’s approx 72cm long x 67cm high x 40cm wide. Rotating the bars in line with the stem makes it 35.5cm wide. That was the crucial measurement for me as it JUST fits under the rear bed shelf in our VW California.

Great bike, totally different to a standard Brompton. I ordered one.

If you can't quite stump up the cash for the bike, you could have the box instead

Then if anyone calls round, just say you haven't unpacked it yet.

I was in my LBS this morning picking my (non-folding) bike up after some work. They had some C Lines in stock. They're weirdly big (to someone familiar with the ordinary Brompton). But they do look nice. And not as heavy as I expected. But still pretty heavy.

late to the game (G-line pun lol), but if I am exactly 6ft which size would one recommend?

I think the Brompton site recommends the Medium for up to 6ft.

To save you trawling through the older posts, I found the reach on the small too small, and the large was about right but felt the bars were too high.

Looking at the figures, the reach of the medium isn't much more than the small (i.e. it's not in the middle of the small and large - it's nearer the small). I'm yet to try the medium though, but feel like goldilocks at the minute.

I tried one out today, it’s my 60th in January and Mrs Gunk has kindly offered to buy me one.

I did about 5 miles and really wanted to like it. It is a quality product and ideal if you are tight on space, live in an apartment or need it for a motorhome. I found it very heavy, the rolling resistance of the pimply tyres made it hard work and I was disappointed with the cable disc brakes and for those reasons I’m out!

At that price and doing discs anyway why the hell didn't they go full hydro? ID9 managed it at a fifth of the price. Even though they're "cheap" Tektro, the brakes are fabulous.

I agree, for information it was a medium, I’m 5’8ā€ and it was OK, the ergos felt comfortable. It was also very stable, riding with hands off the bars proved that it was much less skittish than a regular Brompton.

Main deal breaker for was just the bloody weight of the thing, back on my 13 year M3L it just felt nimble nippy and small. The G line lacks the Bromptoness, however it has a market and will definitely sell to non Brompton owners.

Thanks, I always struggle with handlebar height, so maybe the large is better for me. I need to work out what the current Brompton measurement is. On my road bikes I need the height for the handlebars but a shorter reach. Lucky for me I picked up a bike 10years that had a huge head tube.
