The 360 did get a HD DVD drive, but that's gone the way of Betamax, wasn't aware of Bluray for the 360 either.

Clumsy phrasing: I meant the ps3 blueray is better than 360 dvd playback. I wasn't aware the 360 was a HD DVD player, that explains it.

No, the 360 is a standard DVD drive, the HD DVD was an optional extra external drive. So the Blu Ray will be far superior on a HDTV, compared to normal DVD from the 360.

An optional extra many people had because they became so cheap. Were nice drives, couldn't really complain for the money especially when you go on a bang per buck.
