To answer my question from yesterday evening, the peloton decided that today was not a good day to be in breakaway after all. Chapeau to the Fortunato and Bilbao pickers though - it was looking hopeful for a while there.

With Rog not earning any points as you might have expected, the only scorer was pblakeney with Pidcock in 4th.

Quite a significant placing as we now have joint leaders in terms of points accrued. However, with Ayuso currently ahead of Rog in the GC, we have a new PTP pink jersey. Updated scores are here:
