The thread about towpath bikes has slid off, but today I picked up via our local freecycle a Dunlop disc 26 full supension bike, or BSO if you will.
nowt wrong with it as far as I can see, bit dirty, needs tlc but just what I was looking for a mega 3 mile round trip couple times a week for a half Guinness and packet of crisps along the canal.
Not as heavy as I had thought from comments on here and it don't bother me.
BUT........ I did a search on here for Dunlop bikes
O dear. Are they really that bad?
should I....
give it back?
throw it in the canal?
ignore you lot of jeramiahs and ride it? Its got puncture proof tyres which is a big plus, never had those before.
actually one of the disc brakes would add a bit of stoppng power to my 1928 motorcycle if all else fails.
