Picked this up last night localish Gumtree ad . Nearly all original Puch Mistral Se .

Full golden arrow group set

With the added bonus of some nice Weinmann sprint rims laced with Shimano hubs .

Sorry about the poor pics . According to seller he was given bike by previous owner who told him it was his training bike . Very clean paintwork just needs some tlc .

^ similar here. My first bike as a kid I could go distances on was a Puch and got me hooked on riding a bike.

Saw a pretty little Raleigh 20 a-like Puch in Popup Bikes on Friday, I'd have loved a little go on it but don't think Dipak's parking facility runs like the one in Ferris Beuller's day off

Yep, you are right. The split oil clip migrated to the 105

My first 'racer' as a lad was a Puch

Dropped a set of wheels in today and did a couple of tours of the cul de sac and all the bits worked ok .

Also checked seat post and quill stem for freeness both ok.

After much struggling with stripped crank extraction threads on the drive side finally managed to get both the crankset and bottom bracket spindle out

Now just got to get the spindle out of the crankset
