Ok, let's keep it UK though. So, Planet Ilkeston is the benchmark for the bottom of the table, there's no disputing that.

the mediteranian biome at the eden project sell pulled pork in 2 wads of foccacia bread. locals bi-annual pass for £12.50 and only 5 miles from home makes it all worth while!

will definatly try and persuade the wife to get some lovely lovely liquid smoke and pork shoulder ready for tomorrow

Unfortunately not, iirc it became a "modern British" place whose name escapes me. The chip shop round the corner has gone too, my favourite chippie in London, FFS.

Just had lunch at Pitt Cue Co. in Soho. My smoked onglet was pretty good, if not proper BBQ, but my friends' brisket was really really good. The side of pulled pork was pretty decent too. Not cheap though.

It was as rare as all hell! Not sure exactly how it was cooked as the volume in therebis not conducive to my tinnitus. But I did catch "just smoked for 20 minutes" thing it had just been v quickly seared before that. Lovely and tender

The sandwich shop across the road was doing pulled pork baguettes yesterday. The queue was out the door.

They did them again today so I had one with added monteray cheese and jalapenos. Bliss.
