Hi I have a large frame Blackburn pump.

I want to change the fitting over from the Presta to the car valve type.

It's the same as my mini pump which I can un-screw the top then reverse the inner bit to change over.

I cant do it on the large pump as the inner bit doesnt go all the way in when I turn it around.

Hope you can understand what I mean.

Are there two inner pieces that need turning? I know there was on one of my past Blackburn pumps.

Most dual valve pumps I've found have a barrel that unscrews, revealing (normally spilling) a hollow cylinder, and a circular thing with a raised central column on one side.

Separate them (or retrieve them from under the sofa) and flip the order, then put them back together, then push them as a unit back into the pump, and reattach the barrel bit.

If it doesn't work, swap them again, rotate one, rotate the other. There are 8 combinations available I think, and only 2 will work...
