cant see a flashing light? an eye test methinks

I struggle with 'seeing' flashing lights. I notice them but I struggle to make sense of where they are and what they are doing. The random flashers are even worse as there is nothing to work to to guage what the light is doing. Best having a steady light, front and back, as well.

I find the LED rear lights on cars and lorries the worst though. As I scan the road I get a scattering of LED flashes persisting on my retina so my whole field of vision ends up full of single flash red dots that then immediately vanish. It makes it difficult working out which are cars that have moved and which are image persistance.

Eye test?
My eyes are fine with corrective specs on.

ok ok dont shoot the messenger, personal i find a flashing light more noticable that a constent light? anyone else? it may be due to seeing so many red lights, its not seeing the wood for the trees

Flashing to attract attention and steady to enable the person to judge your position and movement.

Better but the flashing still screws up judgement of speed etc.
