Yebbut they still let people in wearing jeans and trainers. Waitrose would have a fit!

I went to Waitrose this evening in jeans and trainers. No wobblies thrown. :stop:

I personally don't go shopping in my PJs but don't have a problem with people that do. Sure it's lazy but at the end of the day they do have clothes on.

Even in scummy Radcliffe, Greater Manchester I haven't seen this. They have more self-respect around here.

I haven't owned pyjamas since I was about 14 and even if I did, I certainly wouldn't go out in them unless my house had just burned down.

What does it say about a person's self-respect that they can't be bothered even to get dressed in the morning, let alone to go out?

We have a neighbour who I've never seen dressed in anything other than a pink dressing gown. I assume she's sick and doesn't work; the only times I see her is under her car port gasping on a fag.

Me - I would nip out to the bin in my PJ's, and also been known to go out and grab lettuce or rocket from the garden for making sandwiches. But I've never gone through the garden gate in them.

To all whingers, moaners and complainers, can you tell me how does people shopping in their pyjamas affect your lives?

I think it shows them up to be idle slobs who are so lazy they can't even be bothered to get dressed. Not a great example to the offspring IMHO.

I once ran a marathon in the pissing rain and had a bbq in said rain in the afternoon while watching the World Cup final. When I got to work the next day, a woman said to me, " What did you do yesterday?; It was so wet I didn't bother getting up except to make the kids dinner"
