Has not @Drago got a solution to the problem which involves a small quantity of old engine oil?

5 litres of low calories creosote substitute. 5 litres used engine oil, the older the better. 1 litre white spirit, 1 small tin of underseal spooned in. Mix the lot, paint it on. Greenpeace will probably take out a fatwa on you, but your fences will outlive you.

Well i used warm water and Fairy liquid on the windows yesterday.Finished off with a wiper blade, they look great and little smears at the end i just flicked over with kitchen roll. They look great but as yet no direct sunshine ,so i will see in July  what they look like.

Thanks Accy they look so much better. No more window spray for me.i am thinking of investing in a window kit ,so i don't have to lean out of the windows to get in the top corners.

Not the Windolene spray that's useless, just smears but the Windolene Cream that comes in the pink bottle.
Just rub it on, let it dry then rub it off. Job done shiny streak free windows.
Mind you I don't have a window cleaner because round here they can't be bothered to climb a ladder and seem to think it's acceptable to squirt water out of a hose with a brush on the end all over my hardwood surrounded double glazing.
It isn't acceptable at all.
BURN HIM!
