Get yourself out on one of Colins rides,they're done at a very
leisurely pace the tail enders don't get left behind.

I'd not ridden over 50 miles up until 3 years ago
and I'm older than you,I did 158 miles to Morecambe and back the other
weekend,Just keep putting the miles in and push yourself a little bit further each time

Yes, you'd be welcome to join us 2wd. Even though some of the others are fit enough to burn up the hills, I am definitely not at the moment so I hold them back. Or rather - they wait at the summits for me!
