quick bit of advice

From a resale veiw what do you think would be a fair price to ask for a bike like this ?

Just under a year old perfect condition and gears setup by a bike shop. No faults that I know off and gears do work fine

Or I may keep it as second rather than give it away

Keep as second is my advice. Good bike for the money, and likely to be worth little second hand.

The only trouble with having a second bike though is that it leads to the world of N+1

You'll not get the true value of the bike in resale value - so as others have said, keep it as spare / winter / hack / whatever you wanna call it bike.

IIRC correctly a guide for 2nd hand is 50% of the retail new cost and -10% per annum there after. I'd agree with all the posts above though if you can I'd keep it as a second/ spare bike.

ive got one of these bike had it 3 weeks paid £180 off of ebay for it great for a first road bike done 175 miles already on it!

If you're commuting etc. I'd definitely keep it around. I rode an older version of that & IMO it'd make a nice second bike
