Howdy folks.

Quick intro as I've lurked here long enough...

Been a casual MTB rider since forever. I've never ridden, never mind owned a road bike....

Until now...

I'm the owner of this : http://goo.gl/WvkBo

Took delivery today, and well happy.

Got some look keo pedals and Scott premium road shoes. http://goo.gl/xp0nW

Should be interesting having never ridden clipless! Seems easy enough in the living room. Finding the difficulty getting IN, not out.....?!

Just need the weather to clear up and get out!

That is a nice tool! Welcome aboard, and let us all know how you get on with the Cannondale. You'll soon get used to the pedal bindings. I set the binding tension to the lowest when I started with them, and haven't found the need to change the tension yet. Getting in and out is easy, but I haven't yet had an involuntary unclick.

Enjoy your bike, I'm not envious at all in any way whatsoever, no, not all, I deny it completely. It is nice though.....

Great looking bike...hope you get the weather to get out and enjoy

Hi and welcome

I also found clipping in to be tricky specially when moving off at busy junctions etc. Used to slip all over the pedals. Don't worry though it soon becomes second nature and easy.

Hi and a big :welcome:
Ooooooooh, love that bike.
Hang on while i drool a bit.
Nice to see it has it's own sofa.
I wish you well with it. (the bike that is)
Yes, when you get out, ride around on it somewhere quiet. You'll soon get the hang of the clipless system.
Getting the second foot in is always a bit tricky but you'll soon get the hang of it.
Enjoy.
