filling in the allen head bolt is a good detertrent but would not stop a determined thief picking out the epoxy. once a seat post is fitted ,why wouuld you want to remove it? unless it breaks, get damaged or you want to change it, none of whcih should happen very often (altough it is a good idea once a year to udo the bolt and twist the post to check it has not seized in the frame - an yes, carbon post do seize - I had it happen and it was a right bugger to unseize - and yes, I removed it due to an upgrade)

think twoce about using a Q/R for a carbon post, the removal/refitting will I reckon wear the post so it may end up being too small, no idea hhow many times you would need to repeat this to get any appreciable diameter reduction.
