Since my return to cycling just over 2 years ago have seen my health & fitness improve immensely.unfortunately I had a severe gravity assisted dismount earlier this year and it was two months before I could even sit on a bike, never mind ride it, I have gradually built myself back up again and I am getting back to where I feel I should be. My Average speed is now better than last year, as is my average weekly mileage. However since my return to cycling, two things have eluded me, one is to reach 50mph, Well I am nearly there, I reached 48.9 last week and was called a silly old bugger for my pains. (I took this as a compliment:crazy:) The other thing is Limber Hill at Glaisdale, Yorkshire. Its not particularly long although it is quite steep at the beginning. (It climbs about 140 ft in 0.2 mile) I climbed it regularly when I was younger but for some reason I have failed since my return. Until yesterday that is. I even beat my bike buddy up and he is only 63. Sorry about waffling but I felt I had to share with some other like minded old Farts.

If it makes you feel good, then share it ..... pissed off, then share it ....... completely perplexed, then share it ........ frustrated, then share it. I have no idea what Limber Hill is, but well done for conquering it!
