Quite random question

right im hoping someone might be able to help but its a long-shot. i have been asked to sell some alabaster bricks on ebay for a friend, they are pretty big, around 40x15x5cm i would guess and weight about 20lb. the problem is i dont have a clue what they're worth and hours of googling hasn't got me anywhere.

So does anybody know anything about stone?

looks like between US$0.20 and US$3.00 a lb depending on a lot of things I don't understand but it seems a 20lb random block would be about US$1.50 per lb - so each 20lb block would be around US$30 or about £20 ...



But obviously I have no idea what I am talking about - so take it all with a pich of salt
