Just a few pics of my latest acquisition an R.E.W Reynolds of Northampton road bike . Its the 3 rd one of these i have had and its another big size frame at 24 1/2" , i wonder if he ever made small frames .

Brakes have enough drop to run 700's which is good , just got to see if any of my stock pile of wheels can fit the 120mm oln on the rear apart from the Campag hubed sprint ones in picture .

Anybody got any interest in it before i decide what i am going to do with said best , would make an interesting L'eroica build for somebody

Nice colour combo, very Dawes . Has those Bocama lugs which look very much like Crespera from Carlton,

Would it look better with old 27 x 1 1/4 wheels?

@midlife i hear where you are coming from and tend to think along same lines , but trying to use what i have rather than buying a new set of wheels but will see

quick update this was collected from LBS last weekend after they had done there magic to it , so hopefully should be on the road soon

Ralph has just had it's maiden ride all 1.5 miles and I must admit feels nice

@Drago at 24.5" from centre of crank to centre of seat pin i would say that is fairly large

Old frame, bigger clearances for bigger wheels = shorter head-tube than a modern frame of the same size.
