At first I thought 'that'll sting for sure, but its hardly the worst crash in the world' I missed the guy hanging off the divider until the very end. When I saw him I thought 'now I understand'

Creek bed. The notes on YouTube make it clear it's dry.

Also creeks are usually not quite deep enough for a 10m drop.
