So as part of our (lovely) roast dinner today Mrs Dave got a pack of rainbow carrots .
They were all carrot shaped but of various colours.....normal orange, yellow, purple and a darker yellow..
All of them tasted ok. Purple ones were a bit tough/hard but edible.
So......WHY??
I am quite happy with traditional orange ones.......why confuse it.
BTW.....I know all carrots were originally purple. But that changed for a reason.
Old fart rant over:angel:

Sounds great, I will certainly look out for them.

Carrots are naturally purple. The orange carrot was developed to appease the horror, felt by the majority of the world, towards purple carrots.

Do you like your broccoli green or purple?
With broccoli I am ambidextrous... but I prefer green
