Raining?

It's raining outside so I thought I would stay dry and try out the new turbo trainer. Stay dry? OMG. I could not have got wetter if I went for a swim.

My valet finds the turbo quite warm too.But then,once once I am positioned astride the infernal machine,he is required to maintain his position,energetically waving his largefrond,specially cultivated in a grove in deepest Borneo.Seriously, when you buy a turbo you ought to get a discount on a fan at the same time.So thats you sorted tomorrow,before anything else-a fan.Dont buy one of those silly sweat mats tho-an old towel will do fine on the bike and the floor.I have a love hate approach to my turbo but it certainly has its uses.Good luck!

I quit with mine and sold it... you need a towel under the bike, a towel over the bars and a good fan handy. not to mention a window open or two...

I have a bike thong that came with the second hand turbo trainer. It took a while before I figured out that the bike wears it...

When I used to use a turbo regular it was always in winter and either I was out in the back garden or in an unheated garden shed, even with the temperature well below freezing I still sweated like a pig.
