I can remember my dad repairing the old freewheels by using a piece of wire taken from the bristles of a wire brush and then wrapping a piece of cotton around the pawls before fitting the gears back on .
It's got five gears at the back. Have just had a look online, I'll have to try and take the wheel off to investigate further. I thought everything was going too well
