Hi Spiderweb, thank you for that attachment l checked out the full e bay listing and it seems that there is a problem with the rear wheel (possibly deformed in some way) and the rear derailleur changer is not working. Many thanks for your help l look forward to some more suggestions.

It looks a lot nicer than that 'orrible Pursuit thing(Similar Pursuit as my avatar). The issues you mention could be worse and may give you some leverage on price.

Yes lm not ruling it out by any means, there is no room for an offer because someone has already offered the start price !!

The Mercier looks nice and is a 54cm so may be a bit small for the OP.

Oops, being eBay France I presumed they were in France!
The OP is 5ft 7 inches so he shouldn't be looking at anything bigger than 54cm.
