Hello to to all, going thru my bikes in the garage, looking for date info please. Made in Taiwan, 12 speed thumb shifters, steel van shothorst rims atomic hubs serial M9C23233, thanks

Yeah, a real farm gate. Never seen that particular model before but looks to be late seventies, early eighties. The thumb shifters won't be original.

Interesting to see a Taiwanese Raleigh of this apparent vintage, but it's Raleigh USA who had their own set of rules and probably offshored a lot..

Based purely on the fact it's 6-speed I'd think mid-late '80s; maybe a bit later if it's a lower spec bike (as suggested by the 401 tubing and steel rims).

The styling of some of the other bits makes me think perhaps a bit later - possibly early '90s...?
