I know people who give steak to dogs.

Now I hear that you can buy special milk for a cat.

Last night a bloke begged me for my change to buy himself his tea.

Very true: you can also buy a bike for more that I earn in a year.
I don't buy cat milk btw ;)

When Mr Arcana looked like this

and was just a puppy we went camping on Shell Island in Wales and did buy some nice steak from the butcher in Llanbedr, the hubby put the nice steak on a plate near the barbecue, Mr Arcana did steal a piece, Mr Puddles was not amused, until he took it back off him and said it was ok to eat as Mr Arcana had only "sucked it a bit" I made sure Mr puddle ate that piece! The nice butcher at Llanbedr did think Mr Arcana was lovely and for 3 weeks fed him lots of fresh meat scraps daily, if I defrost meat in this house, it is either in the fridge or if it is a large joint that will take ages to defrost I put it in the cold oven as Mr Arcana still thinks he should have fresh steak daily or indeed any fresh meat a whole 1/2 frozen leg of lamb will do him at a push!

Mr Arcana, as a large dog, should be getting some meat scraps. But not milk. Maximillian, my harrier, got bladder stones from milk. My vet says female dogs can pass stones normally, but not males. Meat scrap advice I got from my cousin by his vet. He has Bull Mastiffs. Gigantic dogs. Mr Arcana looks like a fine fellow, indeed.

He does get scraps and he gets water to drink and sometimes a cup of tea, it is just he is a stealer of fresh meat, being very large he can reach most places, it is quite impressive how he can delicately removed something quite large and heavy and frozen off a plate or bowl on the kitchen side without breaking or moving anything but the meat. It is also annoying when you discover he has just eaten dinner that is defrosting...

More seriously, why don't you keep powdered milk in? I only drink soya milk and so does my son (can't be bothered to have 2 types of milk around the house). My misses drinks normal milk but doesn't go through enough to make it worth buying for a cup of tea every few days. She bought some powdered milk and said it was OK. On the same note, a place I used to work used powdered milk for their porrage. 3 cups of porrage to 2 cups of powdered milk IIRC.

..or long life. It's much better than it used to be. In France they sell it instead of 'fresh' milk (makes sense, large country, long distances) and I honestly can't tell the difference. Unopened, it lasts for weeks stored at room temperature.

As for pinching the cat's milk that's simply mean.
