He's done well to get around the fit and proper person test...

Well if the stock exchange have passed him cant see SFA being able to stop him , Remember they passed di Stefano at Dundee .

I could be wrong but I thought Dundee just appointed him then the SFA made him resign when they discovered he was totally corrupt? That was around when they signed Ravanelli wasn't it? He must have wondered WTF he'd signed up for...

Just so that you know, as Rangers is an AIM listed company it is not the stock exchange that decides if someone is suitable to be on the main Board of Directors. The Nominated Adviser (in this case WH Ireland) decide if someone is, in their opinion, suitable. This follows an external report done by a firm like Kroll who investigate the individual's background. Having said that, I have never known a Nominated Adviser to decide that someone is not suitable.

The fact that Rangers is WH Ireland's client of course has no bearing on WH Ireland's decision as to whether someone is suitable or not :becool:

I don't think WH Ireland is continuing as the Nomad , apparently King has another Nomad lined up so I take it they have already passed him as fit and proper .

Fourth crook in four years. Whyte, Green, Easdales and now King. What could possibly go wrong?

Yup, I was wrong about King succeeding but I genuinely can't understand the glee with which he's being met by The Rangers fans. They were led into liquidation by a board which King was a part of, due in no small part to dodgy tax practices. King has been convicted of over 40 tax charges and now he's got his hands on Ibrox again.

After all they've been through, shouldn't it be the Rangers fans be insisting upon a "fit and proper person" test, never mind the SFA?

Likewise, I can't understand people looking forward to the future of the club with enthusiasm due to King being there; other than he'll do nothing to change the attitudes that have resulted in on-going problems over many years.

It still looks like troubled times are ahead.

I think you'll find Haudit and Doddit were the names ascribed to Duff and Phelps whilst they ripped the guts out of your club.
