Looks great
Well done.

Well done.
That's a feeder table, not a birdhouse. Very good though.I was going to buy one but they were fifty quid, so I thought, hang on, I've got some wood, I can build one. So I photographically memorised the fifty quid one and then got to work.
It's hard to tell I know (cough) but the last time I did any fancy woodwork, that being defined as anything beyond a straight cut and nailing things, was pre O-Level.

This was a final pre-cursor to make sure I had the necessary skills to do the decking. I think on the strength of this I can go pro.
Very nice, just to echo @meta lon though, a fully laden pigeon could have it over, I think the base needs to be a bit wider
It would look good on your lawn Dave![]()
There's two holes for ground anchors, I'm not relying on the feet width, plus, it's heavier than it looks.

Just bog standard white wood. I don't know how long it'll survive but if I treat it should be OK.If that's CLS, watch out when you treat it as it may warp like a warpy thing. CLS is kiln-dried and meant for internal stud-work. It'll absorb a lot of whatever you treat it with.
