Your photo above your name (that's probably got a name on the interwebthingy) doesn't need dinner for hundreds or even thousands of years, if I've remembered right.

Well, I exaggerated somewhat.......but tardigrades can survive decades in a dormant state.

When I was around 11 or 12 my aunty was bitten on the hand by a spider. She was never bothered by them although uncle was, and so she would happily pick them up and throw them out. She got a nip from one and over the next few days her thumb was stiff and achey and the ball of her thumb went a pale purpley blue colour.

Didn't stop her picking them up if she needed to though. ^_^
