I think Mrs. Admin is - she's looking more frazzled every day as the holiday progresses. How are the other CC parents coping with having their little treasures at home all day every day?!! :hyper:

(Note: I know you love 'em, but if you secretly wish they were back at school and you had your peace and quiet back, don't worry, I don't think you're alone ... lol)

I've been off with them this week. The crap weather doesn't help. Was away till Monday night - Tues a bit crap as I had a leg of lamb slow cooking in the oven, so didn't go out. Went to Tatton Park Farm yesterday and the kids got to feed some newborn lambs - very lucky as we had gone mid afternoon, so were still there when two orphaned lambs were being fed.

Today, well just been given free tickets to see Chuckle Brothers - so off there now (hope no-one mentions I was in one of their early shows - don't want dragging on stage).

Getting No1 son to do homework has been a mare - his kind teacher sent them all home with loads.

Oh bless how I wish I was in the same boat mine are scrotty teenagers apparently they know everything and Im Gay I have no idea or so they tell me and whats more when I get to see them on rare occasions its normaly when they need money. Im also a wierdo or so they tell me because I ride a bike to work and dont take the car. When I raise objections to them leaving the lights on, sink full of dishes, three towels per shower two showers a day, leave their bedroom windows open when the central heatings on, or have the cheak to say no to their many demands their family protection policy kicks in (SWMBO) who promptly agrees they can do no wrong and Im a grumpy old man. So count your blessings they've not reached that stage yet:eek:

I've spent a few days doing "old fashioned" dad stuff with my boy like building dens in the woods and going for bike rides. It's great having an 8 year old who likes to be outside, cos it means I can be 8 as well!

Desperate now! I don't seem to have done very well at entertaining and occupying them during this holiday. Did far better last year with lots of cycling, camping and days out (first time on the Big One for my oldest and you can't beat Blackpool pleasure beach doughnuts). The weather hasn't helped.

I think it's great. I seen about 3 cars on my way to work this morning.

Next week, it will be back to normal - get the fark out of my way, I need this BMW X5 to drive little Billy 500 yards to school. :gun:

That is so true. Describes my family very well.

Well not all the time. Half of the time they are normal reasonable people, the other half teenagers.
